Details about the 2026 ride:

  • Road Ride visiting local farms to taste cider donuts

  • 36 mile ride with options to join or leave the ride at any point

  • Average speed 16-20mph. 2000 feet of climbing with rolling hills

  • Route will be on open roads in the New Paltz, Milton and Malboro area

  • The Ride with GPS route is HERE

  • Meeting location, parking, start and finish point is Twin Star Orchards

  • 8:50am Welcome remarks

  • 9:00am sharp ride begins behind the White Bronco Lead Out Vehicle

    • Similar to other large road races/rides

    • Police assistance at a few major road crossings

    • We will visit these farms in this order:

      • Twin Star Orchards

      • Minard’s Farm

      • Weed Orchard (not confirmed yet)

      • Locust Grove

      • Dubois Farm

      • Twin Star Orchard afterparty

        • Donuts, Cider, Pizza, Burgers, Music

        • Hyperice Recovery Lounge with recovery boots

      • Delicious Donut Award point system to rate the donuts

  • All riders must register HERE

    • Registration opens September 1

    • Fill out Athlete Information Form and complete the online waiver

  • Registration is $50 per rider

    • Includes a ticket for a donut or apple at each farm

    • CDBT 24oz Purist water bottle

    • One cider drink at the finish

    • 10 minute recovery boot session

  • If registering for multiple riders, please register separately

  • Additional donut tasting/food purchasing fees at each farm are covered by each rider on site

    • Food at Twin Star Orchard afterparty is not included in registration

  • We will aim to stay together as a group, stopping for 20 - 30 minutes at each farm and on to the next one

    • Hand the ticket to the counter, receive donut or apple, taste, enjoy… and onward.

  • Please ride with due regard for your surroundings, other cyclists and vehicles on the roadway

  • Ride safely and obey all traffic laws. Helmets are advised. Ride single file and to the right

  • Road or gravel bikes are recommended. Some gravel roads to farm entrances

  • Riders of all levels are welcome but this is a bit more moderate to advanced rider level with hills

  • No dogs please. Families and pups can meet at Twin Star for the afterparty

  • Ride is self supported regarding bike maintenance, flat tires and nutrition

    • We will have a water cooler for refills at farm stops and some mechanical gear on the Bronco

  • Ride is rain or shine

    • We will ride if it is raining light

    • Moderate to heavy continuous rain will cancel the ride

      • Registration fees could be carried over to new rescheduled date if it is postponed

  • We are looking forward to another fun ride with you all!
